I take no joy in this — Peter is my favorite hockey player to watch. He’s up there with Cam Neely and Ray Bourque on my all-time list. I’m only trying to justify not being destroyed by his departure from the Colorado Avalanche.

Also, the Avs are rapidly losing ground in the standings after losing two in a row.
