My dear mother has made the leap to Apple computing hardware, which I welcome wholeheartedly. Of course, she had to do it whole-hog by getting an iMac and a MacBook, but I can’t begrudge her having her toys. Plus she got a discount through her employer, so she was able to get everything nicely upgraded.
Now I just need to get down there this weekend and install the wireless router I got her for Xmas…
Then we can figure out that crazy screen sharing action in iChat. That’ll be awesome for remote troubleshooting, should it ever be needed.

I want to see a 30 Day Mac Mom new user review.
I’d like to point out that I’m a dick. This is one result of our over-reliance on bookmarks, etc., rather than good old fashioned memory. I got a new Mac meself whilst waiting for my PC to arrive from Hawaii, and that is why I haven’t been on Blahstuff for a while; it is bookmarked in my “daily reads” on the Dell, but I forgot to enter it into my Mac.
I got the Mini and it is pissah. It really is easy to go to a Mac and learn how to use it without assistance. I ain’t giving up the PC yet, though. I’m not that kewl.
Dude. You gotta get the Google Reader action fired up.
And so far, the Lady loves her MacBook. So much so she hasn’t been in much of a rush to get the iMac set up.
Google Reader is to the Internet what DVR is to the cable box world. Make it happen.
