I know a few guys that need to spend some time playing Desktop Tower Defense. (Maybe some gals, too, but The Wife showed absolutely no interest…)
My high score so far is ~3100 in “normal” mode, which is a full 5000 shy of the ultimate high score.
If you get prompted to save your score, add it to the “blahstuff” score group.

I love little time wasters like this. Too bad I rarely make it to the end before my computer overheats and freaks out.
I don’t even see how a score above maybe 5000 is possible. Unless you get a bonus at the end, I suppose.
In easy mode, where it doesn’t record your score, I was able to kill all the creeps and got over 5000. Don’t know if it’s possible in normal
The high score list shows up to 8000! I don’t see how.

Amazing how i just gave up my entire morning to this. if you send in the next wave before time runs out you get your score number but i don’t see how this affects your end score…unless you finish the game???
There *must* be a big bonus if you make it to the end….
there’s no big bonus at the end. if you send the next wave before it’s sent automatically, you receive additional points. it appears at the top as (your score plus bonus) ie: 420 8…
there are 49 levels. you can make it. check out my corridor of doom layout. it’s not perfect but it’s good.
