When I listen I keep expecting those awesome refrains but the voice always drops down a register just when I am hoping to be blown away and I end up being disappointed. Same with Paul Simon...James Taylor...maybe they should just rest on their laurels and if they've got more song left in them they should write for younger artists? Or put a disclaimer sticker on their cds. I know - harsh. I just looked at the list of nominees and I must say my addiction to podcasts has rendered me completely clueless about pop music - RHCP, seriously? I would have voted for The Raconteurs.
