   I’d thought it was my mishearing of the news broadcast, but it turns out that one field reporter was repeatedly referring to it as the “Hanukkah Blizzard” while the official title was “Holiday Blizzard of 2006″.

   I thought it was hilarious, so I went with it.

   Yup. That reporter is an antisemite. I can’t think of any other explanation.

   lol - maybe the reporter is Jewish
   The real reason the name is “Holiday Blizzard” is because there are too many different ways to spell Chanukah (Hanukah…Hanukkah…).
