I invented a cursive/block hybrid of the letter "B" for my last name signature because I hated the standard cursive "B". I also hate the lowercase cursive "Z" but I could never get that hybrid to work right. Fuck you, cursive.

I fucking hate it when my students write in cursive. It's hard enough to read a 4th grader's cursive writing, but when you add the fact that they are English Language Learners into the equation, I want to tear my hair out.

I never understand when people complain about the lack of support for cursive. What's the point in it? How often are things even handwritten anymore? The speed improvement is minimal, while the legibility suffers greatly. I haven't used cursive for anything other than my signature since I was in fifth grade, when I learned it.
