I Won!

No I didn’t, but at least I know what to do if I ever become a lottery millionaire, thanks to the fine folks at Rotten.com.

Rule #1: Don’t post the fact that you won to your blog (or anywhere).

Ze Show

I sure as shootin’ hope all you monkeys are watching Ze Frank’s The Show every week day.

It’s pure comedy gold.

Hank III

Went out tonight with Sarah and Dave to see Hank Williams III. I have to say it was some of the best people watching I’ve had in a while. There were Greasers & Betties, Punkers, Cowboys (Buffalo Bill Cody was there - I swear!), at least one Skinhead, and many other sorts there.

Good times.

A close front-runner for the most interesting moment of the night was just the fact that the opening band, the Murder Junkies, actually had fans who knew their songs. WTF?! I guess this G.G. Allin guy had some fans…? Y’know, before he died, and stuff…

Lightning Crashes

So, yeah, this wasn’t me, luckily. I abstained from riding yesterday and today due to weather reports that expected thunderstorms.

It was, however, right in my neighborhood. I’m even partially convinced that I saw the actual lightning bolt on my drive home.

Congrats, ‘Canes!

I confess I was cheering for the Edmonton Oilers, but the Carolina Hurricanes had a hell of a playoff run. This Stanley Cup final series was great hockey all the way around — especially Conn Smythe winner Cam Ward.

With my old Boston Bruins loyalties, it was certainly overjoying to see Glen Wesley get his first championship after 18 years in the league.

Nice job, boys!

Time for More Roller Action!

I’ve got my tickets for the upcoming Rocky Mountain Rollergirls/Pikes Peak Derby Dames mini tourney on July 22nd.

Do you?
