I say you use your geek skills and come up with one for spirits, one for beer and figure out the money angle later. I’ll be a guest contributor for both. First beer? Harpoon IPA. First spirit? Jinro, of course.

These guys have a feature in Boston’s Weekly Dig. I am not the most avid reader of their column, but I learn something new and interesting about craft beers nearly every time I do choose to read.

Thanks for the pointer - what a great idea! At least if they have a kind of buddy feature built in (haven’t signed up yet), users can eliminate the shilling that typically occurs on any type of review site like this.

I second the motion for a beer version (and any way aren’t some beers cork’d? What about the Chimays?)

That *is* a good thing. I honestly don’t think that a bottle of wine has to be expensive to be good.

I also like the beer website idea. You could call it Boozr. And when searching the site, you could use the Boozr Cruizr. Just a thought.
