The hard clearish Nalgenes are the ones you have to worry about. The soft, cloudy, old-style ones are ok. I've also heard (like 5th hand... don't trust) that the hard clearish ones may or not be ok until they're washed in the dishwasher; that amplifies that chemical leaching process. Or so I've heard.

You act like I'm out every weekend snowshoeing or some crap. I could give a damn about the freezing point in one bottle over the other.
I need a water bottle for two places: the office and the hotbox yoga (where a partial prefreeze is advantageous).

Besides, they have hare lip-proof nipples for those puppies. ;)

Can I laugh when your lips freeze to the Sigg? Or, not nearly as funny, can I laugh when the contents of your Sigg freeze? The simple fact is that the freezing point of your contents is higher in a Sigg and lower in a Nalgene. The complex matter is when your co-workers, friends and family start mocking you for your moronic decision to "go metal," when you have a technology induced hare lip.

Trust me, Bro won't laugh at you, much....
