We finally got our new blue couches from the Furniture Room delivered today.

    Funny coincidence, we finally upgraded the hand-me-downs from the ‘rents and got a real living room set on Friday. And of course the ‘rents demanded photo documentation.

    Did they try to sell you the anti-stain policy? I swear the next person that says “Goof Proof” to me is going to get a smack in the head.

    Your house looks so gorgeous and open, I am jealous. :-)

    Our first Halloween after we did the walls, a little girl came to the door and said “I like your colors. Are you on Trading Spaces?” as I handed her candy.
    It made me proud.

    And we actually sprung for the Teflon craziness, because I want my luscious microsuede upholstery to last as long as possible. But, to her credit, the gal at the Furniture Room never uttered the phrase “Goof Proof”.

    I, too, have microsuede couches, and LOVE them. I was not sold on their goof proofness, but I was also shopping on price/value/look (in that order)…and I think the dude realized that I was a dude, I wanted something guy-ish, that I could spill beer/love/pizza on and not be upset, all while being able to afford the damn things. I can speak for the beer/pizza, but cannot yet vouch for the love proofness. Jake, you’ll have to keep us posted.

    Oh…PS: LOVE the new comment display. That’s hot shit, kid.

    We should all check back here in 5 years with updated microsuede couch pics and compare. Matt’s pics have to be in UV light though :-P.

    Matt, that’s the K2 theme for WordPress. All the cool kids are using it. ;)
    And I have absolutely no comment on the whole UV thang.
