As for the TT, I was a big fan of the pre-launch images — I thought it was going to be the sexiest thing on four wheels since way back. Then I started seeing them around, and they lost a lot of luster. “Cool as James Dean”? I think not.

All that aside, I think we should all be up in arms over the possibility that the Audi TT will drastically change body styles. A preview from the Japan Auto Show indicates that the TT will look more like a Suzuki Aerio (which I actually like - as opposed to that Barbie doll Jeep that Jake likes…want some hot pants, little boy?) than the cool as James Dean, bitchin’ machine that it is today. I’d love for Audi to bring out the “Shooting Brake” model, but the should DEFINITELY keep the beautiful TT around.
