Matt’s cousin Nels is a monster — Especially with a few quarts of beer in his gut.
Matt and I have often wondered what would happen if he and Miracle Ed ended up in a room together. Usually we come to the conclusion that it should just never happen.
I think human existence would cease to be if Edo and Nels ever crossed paths. That, or they would both recognize that fighting to the death is the only way to keep nature’s balance.
Yeah, I go with instantaneous super-nova.
As much as I recognize Nels’ monstrosity, he wouldn’t stand a chance against the Army-hardened Ranger Ed in a death match.
I recognize Ed’s ranger training, but I’ve also seen Nels play a hockey game on a broken ankle and take on two guys that were bigger than him in a bar fight and come out victorious. Let’s just say that the thought of them fighting frightens me. Which leads us back to the beginning: they must never meet.
Just remember Ed’s nickname with his Korean Special Forces bar fighting buddies was “Good for Four” (or was it 5?).
(We could have this debate for weeks.)
